Reminder on Time Word Problem
- Always draw your time line in word problem.
- Break down the duration to the next hour in your timeline to make it easier to add or subtract.
- DO NOT add or subtract time with duration or time with time in a number sentence.
- The only number sentence acceptable is duration + duration = Total duration.
Heuristics to revise for test:
- Before-After (Equal End 1: Total Given) Draw a Diagram
- Growing Patterns
