Important pointers to answer Question 5.
- Identify the relationship between the number of strokes and the number of paper clips it can attracts.
- Analyse the results in the graph.
- Explain why one of the results is wrong.
- What could be the correct result shown?

Homework for Maths

Workbook pg 81-84 (only for pupils who did not complete in class last week)

Today's homework is workbook pg 85-88. I will be going through again the concept of comparing fractions tomorrow to clear further doubts. 

These are the summarised points covered so far in Fractions.
1) Short-cut to finding equivalent fractions 
    - multiply the numerator and denominator with the same number. 
2) Finding simplest equivalent fraction 
   - divide the numerator and denominator by the same number. 
   - Divide until cannot divide anymore.
     (The numerator and denominator should be the smallest possible number)
3) Comparing fractions 
   - Using fraction wall or fraction disc
   - Short-cut method: Change to equivalent fractions with the same denominator.
