Videos on Lodestone & Magnetic Field
Monster Lodestone
We have learnt that a lodestone is made of magnetite and magnetite is made up of iron oxide.
There is a pulling effect/force causing the paper clips to be attracted to it.
Magnetic Field
Iron filings are used in this experiment. As more and more iron filings are placed near to the bar magnet, an interesting pattern is seen. What do you think will happen if two magnets with like poles are used? Post your comments here.
