Hi all,

Here are pictures of the group work done on Friday. The class discussed their observations of the crickets after 5 days and were led to theorise their observation. They were asked to reason out why they saw what they had seen and why did the experiement turned out different from their prediction.

These were the two interesting obervations and attached are some pictures.
- crickets in the container without holes for air to enter were mostly actively and growing in size.
- number of crickets in the container without food and water decreased from 7 to 4 crickets. The dead crickets were not seen in the container.

Experiment Design - Group Work

Here's the pictures of the experiment design captured from all 8 groups.

I'm looking into carrying out this experiment with the help of Dr Teo Chew Lee and her research team.

Anyone who wants to contribute animals like crickets or grasshoppers please let me know.

Can you predict what would happen to the animal in the next 5 days? Will it immediately die?
